Evaluation of producing values of new hybrid combinations of sunflower

In 1993 and 1994, two series of new sunflower hybrid combinations were studied separately. It should be emphasized that in both years of investigation there were hybrid combinations that had significantly higher seed yield (kg/ha) and oil content in seed () than both standard hybrids. Most of these hybrid combinations have good values as well as other agronomic traits particularly with respect to the resistance to Phomopsis.
