Production of medicinal and aromatic herbs in the Republic of Serbia (F.R. Yugoslavia) is characterized by a great number of comparative advantages (natural conditions, man power, processing capacities, market) which could be a significant factor of stability in a situation of relatively good conditions for agricultural development in the Serbian countryside.
