In relation to the position of the different polyfacial packs layer in terrain profiles of Vojvodina (Yugoslavia), the following major aquifer systems have been recently recognized: 1) free, 2) free and subartesian, and 3) subartesian and artesian. For these complex aquifer systems, 7 types of biundary conditions may be distinguished thus creating a global scheme of Vojvodina's groundwater resources an basic structure their further analysis, control and management.
