The varieties tested in low trellis gave satisfactory yield, but it was much lower than in standard high trellis. The quality, i.e., content of alfa-acids in low trellis is somewhat lower in low trellis, but the difference is not significant and the content corresponds to varietal features. It can be expected that low trellis' significance will increase with introduction of specially selected dwarf varieties.
