Aporusa lindleyana seeds normally remain viable only for two days at open room conditions and lose their viability when dried to 30 % moisture content or stored at temperatures at or below 15 deg C, indicating their recalcitrant nature. The present study showed that fresh, surface-dried seeds (with 40 % moisture content) can be stored for about a year in air-tight polycarbonate bottles or polyethylene bags at 30 deg C and 85 % relative humidity (RH) or in polycarbonate bottles at room conditions
