The overwintering success of mites in the vineyards has been followed regularly since 1984 in the Department of Veszprem, the number of known mite species and families - especially regarding the predatory ones-increases from year to year. New species were established also in the winter that belong to the families Cunaxidae, Bdellidae, Phytoseiidae, Ragiidae and Eviphididae
