The quantitative analysis of the negotiation power on the decision-making process of the producer's rice price [Japan]

In determining the producer's rice price, the ruling Party and agricultural cooperatives form an alliance. The purpose of this paper is to analyze quantitatively the negotiation power of the union in this process. Statistical analysis using recursive regression method and first-order autoregression model indicate that superficially negotiation power looks decreased but actually the negotiation power remained relatively stable
