[Improving flowering of blackberry "brazos" with revent (i.a. Thidiazuron or TDZ)]

"Brazos" blackberry plants were sprayed with 40, 75 and 150 ppm TDZ (Revent) and Dormex 0.5 %; the results obtained showed a significant improvement in lateral inflorescences budbreak. TDZ treatment induced a higher percent of flower appearance than control and was as effecive as Dormex in advancing flowering. There were no phytotoxicity symptoms with any of the treatments evaluated
