Effect of different concentrations of gibberellic acid and thiourea on the nut germination and growth of the seedlings of peacan cultivar stuart
1997
Shrestha, K.B.
The experiment on nut germination was conducted with different concentrations of gibberellic acid and thiourea in view of finding out the best concentration of the chemicals to reduce the time of germination and increase the vigour of seedlings. The seed germination was highest with 14 days water soaking plus 500 ppm. GA. The germination was early and uniform as well as the linear and radial growth was also increased with 500 ppm GA treatment.
