Typical brown soils, leached brown soils, lessives soils, balck earths and pseudogley soils formed from deposited glacial materials of Mazowiecko-Podlaska Lowland were investigated. The mean content of Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd, Ni, Cr and Fe in investigated soils are: 32, 42, 8.3, 14, 0.36, 8.6, 26 mg per kg dry mass and 1.42 percent respectively. The distribution of trace elements in profiles of soils is as a result of the primary soil formative process and the changeability of its granulometric composition. The investigated soils therefore indicates the natural contents of its trace elements and iron contents
