The contents of total DTPA soluble trace elements (Mn, Zn, Cu, Cd, Co, Ni, Pb) and water soluble B were determined. The essential chemical properties of soils as well as input and output fluxes of the above mentioned trace elements were also determined. Some decrease in total Mn and an increase in total and DTPA soluble Pb and Co contents were stated in 1994. These changes could not be explained by means of the balance method. The contents of DTPA soluble trace elements Mn and some others depended in some degree on the soil reaction. Trace elements solubility increased at low pH values and decreased in limed soils. The fallowed soils were poor in water soluble B as a result of it intensive leaching
