The vines were planted in 1984. Five methods of training: low head, stemless double Guyot, high double Guyot, diagonal cordon and umbrella were compared in the year 1988-93. The vines formed as high Guyot and umbrella had two trunks, 130 cm high. These two high forms of training gave the highest yield for both cultivars. The low head system yielded the most poorly
