The influence of fertilization and sowing method on nutrients income [uptake] by wheat

In field polyfactorial experiments the influence of different fertilization levels and different sowing methods (drill coulter, belt and disc) on N, P, K, Ca macroelement content in wheat grain and straw, on the nutrient amount drawn by 1 ton of grain, and on the average variety yield of six cultivars over three production years were observed. Average macroelement content was as follows: in grain 25,096 N, 5,861 P, 4,333 K, 505 Ca, and 1,737 Mg; and in straw 5,341 N, 737 P, 1,122 K, 3,618 Ca, and 1,348 Mg. Average amount of nutrients drawn by 1 ton of grain and straw was as follows: 25.44 kg N, 5.58 kg P, 11.90 kg K, 2.84 kg Ca, and 2.47 kg Mg. The amount of nutrients drawn by 1 ton of grain changed in consequence of observed technology parameters as follows: in consequence of fertilization, the drawn nutrient amount increased for N, P, K, and Ca elements and for P and Mg ones it dropped. The drill coulter sowing method increased the drawn nutrients amount in K, Ca, Mg elements and decreased it for N and P nutrients. Belt sowing increased the drawn nutrient amount in N and P elements and decreased it for K, Ca and Mg. The disc sowing method increased the drawn nutrient amount of N, P, K, and Ca elements and dropped it only for Mg. The amount of nutrients drawn changed only in consequence of fertilization; by the sowing method it was not practically influenced
