The yield of the partridge Chukar (Alectoris chukar, Gray 1830)

Recording the yield of the partridge (Alectoris chukar) is discussed. Though these partridges are not free-living animals in the Czech Republic, Alectoris chukar in particular may be a subject of intensive farm breeding. The analysis of body weight of this partridge (edible parts, bones and processing waste) is given in the tables and graphs. Mean yield calculated from dead weight is almost the same for cocks and hens (cocks 69.13 % and hens 68.77 %)
