The analysis of non-woody vegetation of forest ecosystems from the biosphere reserve Polana has not shown significant changes in composition during the last 25 to 33 years (except diversity indice changes or decrease of plant taxon number compared with initial state) as a result of predicted climate change by climatologists. This does not mean that these climate characteristics will not affect vegetation composition in near future nor should it lead to undervaluation of the danger of climate change impacts on forest management
