Discussed are the Kemenade report concerning agricultural education in Suriname and the planned activities for the course. The enthusiasm of the farmers, in both the agricultural and the animal husbandry sectors, to attend the courses and the information gatherings, has dropped. A training program consisting of four points has been suggested to create a favourable climate for the further development of the animal husbandry sector
