Chaetomium globosum was found to be antagonistic to Curvularia lunata when tested on Dual Culure. The antagonistic activity had shown to be 74 percent inhibition of radial growth and the zone of inhibition was 0.4 cm. In greenhouse test, using spore suspension of microantagonist could be prevented the leaf spot disease of corn which the disease incidence was only 26-27 percent. Microantagonist treated plants could be controlled the disease as good as Benlate-treated one, and had higher in growth parameters when compared to the nontreated check.
