Seed quality of vegetable soybean cv. White Lion as affected by pod position

'White Lion' vegetable soybean was grown at Tropical Vegetable Research and Development Center, Kasetsart University, Kamphaengsaen Campus, Nakhon Pathom Province, during June 14, to September 17, 1991. The number of two-seed pods was the highest (48.67 %), followed by one-seed pods (30.67 %), damage pods (13.11 %) and three-seed pods (7.55 %) respectively. The seed yield harvested from pods on mainstems was 72.22 %, higher than that of pods from branches (27.78 %). Seeds from the mainstem germinated (72.22 %) better than seeds from branches (26.50 %).
