Effects of herbicides on fungi of Fusarium spp. developing in soil, maize (Zea mays L.) root and stalk. [A short version of master thesis]

Effects of Atrazine (the triazine group), EPTC (the thiocarbamate group) and their mixture, as frequently applied herbicides in relation to weed control in maize crop, on frequency and distribution of Fusarium spp. in soil and maize root and stalk were observed. Atrazine, EPTC and their mixture affected the number of Fusarium solani, Fusarium equiseti, Fusarium moniliforme, Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium subglutinans and Fusarium graminearum in soil and maize root and stalk. According to the data on effects of single application of herbicides, effects of their mixture application could not be predicted.
