The aim of this work is to estimate the optimum economic levels of fertilizer (Potassium, Nitrogen, and Phosphate) used to fertilize broad beans. The results showed the insignificance of the potassium for the six estimated production functions, therefore it was excluded from analysis. The results showed also that the optimum levels economically of the nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers were 70 kg, 50 kg per hectare, respectively. It appeared also that the levels of the two fertilizers (N, P) which maximise output were 70.77 kg and 52.98 kg per hectare respectively. Thus the optimum levels economically and the optimum levels technically of the quantity of production were very close so that they were the gross margins values for both levels
