Variation among wheat cultivars in growth and nitrate reductase activity

A field experiment was conducted to study a growth charcteristics of some wheat varieties widely growth in Iraq and some varieties and breeding introducing lately. Stem growth and weekly changes in leaf area were measured. Efforts were made to determine the relationships between NRA and yield. The test for NRA can provide a ctiteria for a selection between varieties
