The effects of GA3 and BA on fruit set and yield of local sweet orange Citrus sinensis (osbeck)

This study was conducted to study the effects of (GA3) and (BA) alon or as combination on fruit set and yield of sweet orange cv. treatments were control, GA at 10, 20 and 30 ppm, BA at 10, 20 and 30 ppm + BA at 20 ppm. Results from this study indicated that spray of GA at 30 ppm + BA at 20 ppm at the beginning of flower opening and the treatment of BA at 30 ppm at full-bloom stage resulted in an increase of fruit set and yield of local sweet orange cultivar
