[Influence of the crop structure on the weed occurence in cereal stands]

In a multiple-factor long term trial, established in 1977 on the Experimental Farm of the Voke Branch of the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture on soddy-podzolic sandy loam soil on gravel six crop rotations with different degree of the saturation with cereal crops were investigated. An increase of cereals from 50 to 100 per cent did not increase the weed weight, however it resulted in a significant in increase in the number of weeds on average by 20-30 units/square m during the 3rd rotation
