Fernandez, E.I. | Alvarez, N.G. (Pampanga Agricultural Coll., Magalang, Pampanga (Philippines))
The result of the study revealed that at harvest population of 160,000 plants per hectare gave the highest plant height with mean of 221.51 cm, the largest size of corn ears of 9.9 cm, and highest corn cob yield of 0.915 tons per hectare. Increasing population density also resulted in increasing leaf area index. In terms of net income, higher income is realized when population density was increased from 50,000 to 160,000 plants per hectare. Result showed that highest return on investment was obtained from 160,000 plants per hectare
