Efficacy of praziquantel against Echonococcus granulosus was evaluated in dogs at different days of infection. The criterion for evaluation based on the number of worms recovered from infected treated and infected untreated dogs. Maximum efficacy (100%) of praziquantel was achieved against 35-days old worms followed by 97.8 percent against 20-days old worms and 94.3 percent against 6-days old worms.
