Evaluation of various nitrogen fertilizer formulations and komplet S on vegetables yield and nitrogen content in the crop

Field experiments concerned the effect of nitrogen and komplet S fertilization on yield of cabbage, carrot and spinach in a three year crop rotation. Nitrogen fertilization increased marketable yield of investigated crops. Slow release fertilizers increased higher the marketable yields then fertilization with komplet S. Among of three tested crops the only carrot showed the lowest content of total nitrogen, and the percentage of ammonium nitrogen in the total N was the highest, whereas that of nitrate N was the lowest
