After the harvest, the selected properties of the plants were assessed. Significant differences were observed among all the plant properties characterized. The highest total yield of bulbs was obtained by the plants of ecotype R. The bulbs of seven lokal ecotypes, designated as A, B, P, R, X, Y, and Z were assessed for their content of dry matter, total sugar, L-ascorbic acid, and some elemets including heavy metals. The results obtained showed that the garlic ecotypes studied differed in the chemical composition of the bulbs. Among the ecotypes P, Y and A were notable for their high content of sugars, L-ascorbic acid, and mineral components
