[The behaviour of some sour cherry hybrids in conditions of the North-East Moldova Area (Romania)]

In order to improve the sour cherry assortment for North-East Moldova area in orchard experiment, there were investigated 15 sour cherry hybrids, starting in 1987. The trees were spaced 3.5 *4 m (714 trees/ha) and trained as palmette with trellis. In respect of their low vigour coming into bearing, self-fruitfulness, productivity and fruit quality, the promising sour cherry hybrid for Moldova area are: H.v. 18/56, H. v. 8/125, H.v. 12/21 and H.v.
