CA-technologies enable to optimize and automatize design preparations as well as to manufacture technological elements and units. An application of CAD/CAM technology in designing and manufacturing transition elements used in agricultural technological units is described. Practice indicated that the effect obtained presenting a time saving in design, elimination of errors in transition to manufacture, and the possibility of complete automation in company management, can be scarcely evaluated
