Lipids content and their fractions in the eggs of laying hens at equal nutrition

In the egg yolks of ISA brown laying hens lipid fractions were followed. Layers were at 57 weeks of age and were fed with the feed mixture determined for productive hens. Proportions of total lipids were found to be 31.89 %, tri-glycerides 36.06 % of the total lipids, cholesterol 4.01 % of total lipids, high density lipoproteins 2.31 % of total lipids, resp. 40.82 % of the total cholesterol
