An interaction between amylase activity and a content of stored substances in wheat grain

The results of the dynamics of alpha-amylase activity during grain formation and its interaction with content of dry matter, starch, gluten and proteins, as a whole are presented. The interaction diagrams obtained by means of a non-linear regression model indicate that there is a significant dependence of alpha-amylase activity upon amount of dry matter, starch and glutene proteins, during grain formation. The correlation coefficient (0.88-0.92) confirms this
