This study aimed the isolation of Listeria spp. from foetus and milk of aborted cattle in Samsun region. Totally, 52 samples (14 foetus+38 milk) were examined. Specimens of stomach fluid, spleen, liver taken from 14 foetuses and 38 milk taken from aborted cattle were examined for the isolation of Listeria species and no isolation could be made
