The effect of air temperature and precipitation on the yield and essential oil content in sage (Salvia officinalis L.)

In this work the effect of some meteorological factor on the yield and essential oil content in sage has been studied. The aim of the study was to determine the dependance of yield and quality on the sum of active temperature and precipitation during the vegetation period. Weather conditions had different influence on investigation traits. The sum of active temperature was 45-73.8 of variance for yield and 21.8-44.3 of variance for essential oil content. The sum of precipitation was 1.8-33 of variance for yield and 5.2-22.7 of variance for essential oil content.
