Relationship between soil aggregation and oxalate-extractable aluminium compounds

The statistical analysis of the results from the investigation of the A and B horizons has shown that the relationships between soil aggregates water stability and the content of amorphous (oxalate-extractable) Alo and the organic matter content in the soils can be expressed relatively well by means of the regression MWDR= ao+a1 (OM/Alo). Values 3 and 10 of the OM/Alo ratio can be employed to distinguish the aggregate water stability as low, medium and good.
