Infection of wild carnivores with Trichinella spp. in Estonia

Important reservoirs of Trichinella infection in the nature of Estonia are wolves, raccoon dogs, lynxes and red foxes. All these animal species were invaded with T.nativa and T.britovi. In domestic pigs only one focus of infection in one restricted area has been registered in Estonia (T.britovi)
