(Citrus virus and virus-like diseases in the Libyan Jamahiriya)

The total area planted with citrus trees in Libya is about 7000 hectares, and most of it is concentrated in the coastal western region. Field survey of many citrus farms in this region, showed the presence of the following citrus virus and virus-like diseases based on disease symptoms: Psorosis (psorosis A, concave gum, blind pocket, crinkle leaf and infectious variegation), flat stem, citrus exocortis, cachexiaxyloporosis, woody gall of sweet orange, impietratura, citrus stubborn and autumn leaf drop
