[Theoretical analysis of straw flow over straw walker]

The straw flow over the straw walkers with four separating steps has been analysed. It has been established that free fall time of straw falling from a steeper step surface is shorter but they undergo a stronger blow meeting the walker surface. In order to intensify grain separation it would be necessary to mount an additional step at the distance of 2500 mm from the beginning of the walkers and straw cross loosener system at the distance of 1500 mm.
