1999
Slepetiene, A. | Magyla, A. (Lithuanian Inst. of Agriculture, Dotnuva (Lithuania))
Investigations were conducted in the comparative trial of crop rotations, established on a light loam soil. The content of humus declined out was the lowest in winter wheat monocultures - 3.22, and its quality was poor. The highest content of humus was established in the plots of perennial grasses - 3.72-4.13. In general humus content and quality were positively affected by cultivation of perennial grasses, but negatively - by cereal growing.
