[The use of rapeseed cake in broiler diets]

A study was conducted to determine the efficiency of rapeseed cake in broiler diets and the effect of rapeseed cake on the growth and carcass quality of broilers. Partial replacement of soybean oil-meal with 5 and 7.5 rapeseed cake had no negative effect of the growth of broilers. The weight of broilers at 6 weeks of age was 1.842-1.896 g and did not differ from that of the control birds. Food consumption per kg gain of experimental broilers fed diets containing 5, 7.5 and 10 rapeseed cake was 2.24-2.33 kg and did not differ from that of the control birds. 5, 7.5 and 10 of rapeseed cake in the diets for broilers had no negative influence on the dressing persentage quality and chemical composition of meat.
