[The relationship between physiological parameters and fertility of bovine semen]

The fertility of bovine semen should be tested using large numbers of cows and heifers - otherwise the obtained results are not exact. If the number of cows and heifers is insufficient for testing bovine semen fertility, itis not expedient to perform tests, as the results might be erroneous. It is advisable to test the semen fertility of the same bull in several districts or regions. No relationship between physiological parameters of semen and its fertility has been determined.
