[Investigation and improvement of genetic parameters in layers by means of modern selection methods used in EU countries]

The aim of the work is to study the reproductive ability of the parent flock and the inheritance of these qualities by the offsprings. 313 chickens of experimental cross groups Loman brown and Haisex brown have been ringed. Their live weight and feed consumption were registered every week. Considering the dynamics of their live-weight data it is seen that there is difference in the development of birds. The investigations will be continued.
