One hundred and eighty (180) day old broiler chicks were divided into twelve (12) experimental units of fifteen (15) birds each. Four experimental rations viz; A, B, C and D were prepared containing 17.50, 14, 10.5 and 6.50 percent soybean meal and 0, 4. 8 and 12 percent dried corn steep liquor, respectively. Average weight gain of birds fed on rations A, B, C and D was 2010.000, 2008.333, 1848.000 and 1814.000 gm, respectively. In chicks fed ration A, B, C and D feed consumption was 3575.667, 3531.333, 3605.333 and 3619.667 gm, respectively. Average feed consumed to produce one kg weight grain was 1.779, 1.759, 1.951 and 1.996 kgs for rations A, B, C and D, respectively. Statistical analysis showed highly significant differences between the rations. Statistical analysis of data on dressing percentage showed non-significant differences among the rations.
