Mycelial culture of the macrofungus Aleuria aurantia (Fr.) Fuck. was performed for the first time with good yield 2.8-5.0 g/l of dry biomass. The culture showed good ability to produce steroidal and nitrogen containing substances - among them several quaternary amines as well as indole derivatives which have not been formed in this fungal species. They were primary characterized by their chromatographical properties and spectral data
