Dielectric properties of selected wheat cultivars

Relationship between dielectric properties of single layer of grain and moisture content of tested material were studied for 6 wheat cultivars. The tests were carried out on a laboratory stand using automatic RLC bridge in homogeneous electromagnetic field of 1 kHz frequency in spherical electrode system. The permittivity and dielectric losses coefficient for wheat grain of the moisture content ranging within 9-27% were significantly different for respective cultivars
