Analysis of present state and forecast of general transformation in agriculture and agricultural engineering were presented. The development of technical equipment and infrastructure, indispensable for reconstruction of agriculture, depend on assumed demand for food products and reduction of farm number and employment in agriculture. A model of technical equipment of agriculture until 2020 according to prognostic programme by the IBMER was described
