Physiological characteristics and nutritive values parameters such as LAI, leaf/steam ratio, CP, CF, "in vitro" digestibility of dry matter and DM production were measured for Brachiaria brizantha, Paspalum coryphaeum and Heteropogon sp from 30 up to 270 days of growth. Data showed a very strong seasonal dry matter production of Heteropogon and superiority of B. brizantha for both dry matter production and IVDDM
