Four years research was carried out in southern Poland. The effectiveness of Oscinella frit L. control on oats by seed dressing (Promet 400 CS) and insecticides (Decis 2.5 EC and liquid Owadofos plynny 50) is described. The best results were obtained when the oats were three times sprayed with liquid Owadofos plynny 50. The oat seed dressing resulted in the blades number increase but did not influenced the oat grain yield
