Influence of herbicides on seed yield of spring vetch under irrigation conditions

In the field experiments the influence of irrigation and herbicide treatments on weedness and two cultivars of spring vetch yield was evaluated. Irrigation increased seed yield about 24 percent due to bigger number of matured pods per plant. Herbicide treatments decreased of weedness and increased yield of seed about 13.3 percent. Increasing of yield, similary as with irrigation, was caused by number of matured pods per plant
