Possibility of using wheat and maize grain as natural sorbent of moisture

Experimental studies were carried out on the changes of moisture content in dried and rewetted grains mixed together in adequate proportions by weight. A constant and the power exponents were determined for an empirical relationship describing the process of water penetration into grain. The composition of grain mixture was determined for wheat and maize at which the water desorption from wet grain was most effective
