Phenomena connected with moisture migration in a grain silo

Paper presented the stand and method to measuring grain temperature and moisture content in a silo filled with two grain layers of different moisture content as well as a method to measuring the pressure of material on container walls. On the basis of results obtained for triticale Presto cultivar the regression equations were derived; the equations determine grain moisture content and temperature at different points of the silo in relation to storage time. Equations describing grain pressure on the walls of silo were also given
